TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

TECSOLUTION was created to provide a consulting services in the technical Management for offshore or Engery Project.  We can handle EPCI contract or even assist during your bidding phase.

Specialised in Offshore Floating Structure, our team will manage all engineering activities such as:

  • Review/establish engineering hours
  • List of Deliverables
  • Engineering Schedule and integration into the overall project schedule
  • Coordination between Disciplines
  • Suppliers technical Follow up
  • Project Control reporting (KPIs, Design Change, Forecast…)
  • Technical Review
  • Client Management (Meetings, Comments, Interfaces)
  • Coordination with other Contractors
  • Management of Classification Society
  • Technical assistance to the construction Site (Non conformity, Deviation request etc…)

Technical subjects to be considered in Oil & Gas:

  • Hydrodynamic studies to be performed with the characteristics of the floating structure and the equipment. Stability, Motion and RAO calculations.Definition and Characteristics of LTD at various locations for structural validation. As built calculation based on final weight and CoG of the Structure.

  • Anchoring System Definition: Drag anchors, Suction piles, Gravity based structures. Interface with Installation (chain pretension value, Installation tolerances etc…) and hydrodynamics.

  • Anchoring Chains or wire rope: Sizing criteria based on Hydrodynamic studies and definition of the accessories for the installation.

  • Subsea: Umbilical and Subsea hoses characteristics. Subsea Analysis: Definition of the Configuration (Steep S, lazy S, Catenary, Lazy Wave, Steep Wave) and floaters. Clash Analysis and Interface with the subsea Manifold. Management of Interfaces with the umbilical/hoses suppliers.

  • Structural: Definition of the structure based on the preliminary Hydrodynamic calculation/stability criteria. Interface with equipment (Foundation, interface Loads, E&I cable tray and supports, piping supports…). Review of fatigue analysis based on LTD of Motion and acceleration plus the external environmental loads (winds, squalls, crane loads, other equipment…).

  • Corrosion and Cathodic Protection: Definition of the painting system and cathodic protection (sacrificial anodes)

  • Piping: Definition of the piping class, piping lines, isometrics, MTO, Routing and supporting arrangement. Piping stress analysis and interfaces with other disciplines

  • Process: Process and instrumentation diagrams, Pressure drop/ surge calculation, line sizing calculation. Setting of protection devices.

  • E&I: definition of the Power system, load list, battery and solar panel sizing, cable list, Cable routing, MTO, Architecture diagram, Instrumentation list, I/O list, cause and effect diagrams interface with power gen etc….

  • Telecom: Definition of the telecommunication architecture, radio path analysis, definition of antennas and their location.

  • Safety: HAZID / HAZOP studies, route escape analysis, Hazardous area layout and list, CFD studies, safety plan.

  • Rotating Equipment: Specification and interfaces with equipment required (winches, Hydraulic power unit, pumps, motors etc….). Definition of acceleration to be considered by the suppliers. Mechanical Handling study.

  • Mechanical Equipment: Swivel bearing calculation, Drawings and calculation of casting /forged pieces…

  • Pipeline: Pipeline sizing calculation, Upheaval buckling, Free span analysis, Trenching analysis, interface with subsea hoses/ umbilical clamp on the manifold.
